About Emily Neill ’91

 


Emily Neill is a Senior Managing Director at Robert Half Executive Search. Having held leadership and consulting roles in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations over the span of 30 years, Emily is well-qualified to assist clients across a broad spectrum of industries.

Experience
Emily has an extensive background in finding candidates and expediting the hiring process for clients looking for critical positions such as CFO, CEO, executive director, chief operating officer, chief information officer, chief marketing officer, chief business development officer, and others. Emily has achieved Chairman’s or President’s Club status multiple times in recent years, making her one of the highest performing Managing Directors in Robert Half’s global Executive Search practice.

Prior to joining Robert Half Executive Search, Emily was the president of Junior Achievement of Northern New England, a nonprofit focusing on financial literacy for K-12 students. Before that, she held the role of regional vice president of Constellation NewEnergy Inc., a Fortune 150 energy company, which led to a national sales leadership role.

Emily developed a deep network and a strong understanding of the private, public and government sectors while serving as vice president of business development at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce for several years.

She has held management roles in several luxury hotels, both in the United States and abroad, and taught courses on the subject at Newbury College in Brookline, MA. At different points throughout Emily’s career, she has also been engaged in consulting projects within the healthcare, energy, and hospitality industries.

Emily is a frequent public speaker and spokeswoman on various topics, including networking skills, nonprofit leadership, and women’s challenges in the workplace.

Personal and Professional Activities
Emily is deeply involved with many nonprofit and professional organizations in the region. She currently serves as a member of the Women’s Network Advisory Board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, is Co-Chair of the Board of Advisors for Newton-Wellesley Hospital, is on the Mass General Brigham (MGB) Corporate Board, is President of the Police Activities League (PAL) of Massachusetts and is a member of the Board Emeritus of Junior Achievement of Northern New England. 

Emily is a 1991 graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
