Dear Cornellians, dear Friends of Cornell,

On behalf of the Board of the Cornell Club of Switzerland (“Clubâ€), I am pleased to invite you to the Club’s annual general meeting (“AGMâ€) and Thanksgiving dinner. This year, we are meeting in Lucerne where our
club was founded 31 years ago.

The weekend will begin with an optional dinner on Friday right in the city center, at the Wirtshaus Galliker. On Saturday afternoon, we will visit the private foundation and art gallery Stiftung Rosengart. The private collection of Lucerne art dealer Angela Rosengart is a real gem.

After a short break, the AGM will be held at the hotel Schweizerhof where we will also have our aperitif and traditional gala Thanksgiving dinner. The Schweizerhof is a charming 5-star hotel, situated directly on Lake Lucerne offering spectacular views of the lake and the city. 

The overall registration deadline for the event is Saturday, 11 November 2017. Payment in advance of the event is expected, unless you make other arrangements with Bernie MacCabe.

We continue with our tradition of inviting our friends from both the AlpAdria Chapter of the Cornell Hotel Society and the Cornell Club of Germany to join us. All Cornellians and friends who are in the area are most welcome to join us for the weekend, so please feel free to pass on this invitation.

To encourage the participation of young alumni, we offer a special price for those who were born in 1987 or later. Active (dues-paying) members of the Swiss Club will also profit from the Club’s sponsorship during the weekend.
