Event Details

Join fellow Cornell alumni to learn about conservation and help protect a steep hillside by planting trees on the hillside (with minimal disturbance) and wrapping existing trees with wire to protect them from beavers. Learn more about Teatown, their mission and other exciting projects planned. Go on guided walkthrough of some of their trails and the famous Raptor Loop (birds of prey), where many of their animal ambassadors reside!

Teatown Lake Reservation is an education center and membership organization located on a 1,000-acre nature preserve in the Lower Hudson Valley. Their mission is to inspire our community to lifelong environmental stewardship. https://www.teatown.org/about/

Children are very welcome but recommended age is 5+ as they will be walking trails, using tools and navigating a hillside with some tricky footing.
