Students don’t often have the connections to find paying summer jobs/internships in places that help further their career goals. Additionally, they often face challenges when trying to land their first job after graduation. They also have trouble finding that first job out of school. The Cornell Club of Greater Philadelphia is trying to help with both.

Does your organization need summer interns? Are you hiring people right out of school? Could you? Can a student shadow you for a day to see what your job is like? We are hosting an event at Vanguard’s HQ in Malvern to help connect local area students with local summer and entry-level jobs.

We invite all local alumni to come and network with students. We will have a panel of Cornellians from Vanguard talking about their varied career paths that got them to where they are today. We will also have lots of time for you to meet with students and talk about your career, how you got to where you are now, and (if appropriate) how to apply for positions with your organization. The students will have LOTS of questions about “life after Cornell” and other challenges.

Light refreshments and hot cocoa should help fuel the discussions

Students have their own registration form and have been invited at no cost.
