Getting a Leg Up: Prosthetics in Veterinary Medicine

Saturday, October 5, 2019 | Hall of Fame Room, Friends Hall | 11 AM – 12 PM

Prosthetic limbs aren’t just for people – pets can be fitted for prosthetics, too. Join Dr. Chris Frye, DVM ’11, Section Chief of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals, for an inside look at the innovative use of prosthetics in pets, both large and small. Dr. Frye will share his experiences working with animals and prosthetics and he’ll even bring a special patient. You’ll be amazed at what a dog with an indomitable spirit, loving pet parent, and cutting edge medical care can accomplish. No bones about it, this is one event you don’t want to miss.

In partnership with the College of Veterinary Medicine.
