For 35 years, Mural Arts Philadelphia has been creating murals throughout the city through a collaborative, community-based process. It is the nation’s largest public art program, dedicated to the belief that art ignites change.

We will enjoy a 90-minute, docent-led “Center City Mural Mile” walking tour through Center City. We will gather at 10:15 am at the Lenfest Plaza Courtyard of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, at 128 N Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102.

The tour will end at noon in Midtown Village. The tour is entirely outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather and for walking on city streets and sidewalks.

As the tour name implies, we expect to walk approximately one mile. Note that capacity is limited to 30 people, who will be divided into two tour groups.

Extra details: Since this an outdoor walking tour, we would have to cancel in the event of truly severe weather. Participants are expected to dress for the day’s weather and/or bring umbrellas if rain is expected.
