As some of you are aware, Dr. Detlef Rahmann is handing over the reins for the Cornell Rhein-Ruhr chapter to Eva Willemsen and myself. We are excited to get more involved and connect with you all, starting with this event.

Please join your fellow Rhein-Ruhr region Cornell and Ivy Circle alumni at Sassafras in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel on Thursday 17 October at 7 p.m. to celebrate International Spirit of Zinck’s Night!
 
This is Cornell’s annual, world-wide, social event founded in honor of Ithaca saloonkeeper Theodore Zinck (see https://alumni.cornell.edu/come-back/cornell-traditions/zincks-night/).
 
Sassafras is located at Düsseldorfer Str. 90, 40545 Düsseldorf. The table reservation will be under “Cornell” and there will be a cash bar. The nearest tram stop is Belsenplatz, which is accessible via trams 70, 74, 75 and 76. The nearest parking garages are BelsenPark Oberkassel at Greifweg 54, 40549 Düsseldorf and Park One at Luegallee 69, 40545 Düsseldorf.
