In response to the growing public health issue associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and out of an abundance of caution for the well-being of our guests, the Giving Day Live celebration scheduled for March 12 at 9pm in New York City has been canceled. 

If you have booked travel and hotel accommodations, we suggest that you cancel as soon as possible.

Cornell University’s leadership has been working vigilantly with state and local health officials to coordinate its response to the virus. On March 5, the university made the decision of postponing or canceling large (more than 100 people), non-essential events or work-related gatherings scheduled through April 15. This is one of several measures the university is taking to reduce the risks to the Cornell community.
