Join fellow alumni, family, and friends for a fun morning on the trails at Phoenix Mountain Preserve! 

Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or simply looking for a chance to enjoy Arizona’s beautiful fall weather, this approximately 2.5-mile hike (about 2 hours) offers an easy-to-moderate route that is suitable for most ability levels. It’s the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and enjoy great conversation along the way.

Our hike will be led by intrepid adventurer Dick Fincher (ILR ’73, JD DePaul ’82), who knows how to make every outing both enjoyable and memorable. 

Be sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water. 

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in the Preserve (except the Summit trails). Please bring water for your dog too and be prepared to clean up after your pet. For everyone’s safety, dogs should remain under control at all times.
