Get some exercise, meet new Cornellians, make friends, and enjoy the cooler air now that our notoriously hot Summer of 2023 has ended. Hope you can join us!

Intrepid alumna Karen Beckvar (B.A, Arts & Sciences, M.B.A. Dartmouth Tuck) will lead us once again through the South Mountain Preserve.

We will meet at 8:45AM on Saturday, the 4th of November. The hike will be 60-90 minutes long and about 3 miles in length. Degree of difficulty will be easy to moderate, appropriate for most ability levels. The early part of the trail features a paved loop with interpretive markers which wheelchairs, strollers, and young children can manage. Further along the route, we’ll be able to enjoy some beautiful city views!

Alumni, family, parents of students, and friends welcome. Bring a hat, sunscreen and more water than you think you’ll need. Dogs are not allowed on the park trails. Details of the exact meeting location will be provided upon registration.
