Two of college hockey’s most storied programs meet again in the postseason as the Cornell Big Red take on the Harvard Crimson in the ECAC Quarterfinals. Let’s watch it together!

The Cornell–Harvard hockey rivalry dates back to 1910, and more than a century later it remains one of the most passionate matchups in college hockey. The teams have faced each other 170 times, with Cornell holding the all-time edge in the series.

This season has continued that tradition of intensity. The Big Red have been among the ECAC’s strongest teams, recently capturing the Ivy League title for the 2025–26 season, their sixth in the last eight years. And when the teams last met in January, Cornell delivered a 4–1 victory at Lynah Rink, extending their current winning streak in the rivalry.

With a trip to the ECAC semifinals on the line, Cornell and Harvard meet again in the playoffs, where these rivals have produced some of the most dramatic moments in college hockey history.
