This event has reached capacity and is no longer taking registrations. Thank you for your interest and we hope to see you at future events with the Cornell Club of Hong Kong.
Dear Cornell Alumni,
The Cornell Club of Hong Kong would like to extend a warm invitation to an exclusive event with our very own Cornell Trustee, William Lim, on September 21st from 2:30pm to 4:30pm to give us an intimate tour of “Matter”, an exhibition especially curated by William Lim himself working closely with Seoul Auction.
Matter is an exhibition of contemporary artworks from Hong Kong and Korea planned by William Lim, a well-known Hong Kong based art collector and the designer of H Queen’s, where our event will be hosted. This event allows time for intimate viewing of the selected collection, and will also allow us to sit down and hear the back story behind H Queens, and also on how William has selected the specific HK and Korean artists featured in this collection. We may also have a visiting guest artist or two depending on their schedules.
This is a rare opportunity for alums to hear more about the work that has gone behind William Lim on his journey of preserving Asian cultural heritage through his commitment and passion towards architecture and interior design projects – from commercial buildings to 5 star hotels throughout Asia and to walk us through his exciting career and passion for architecture, art and culture. This exclusive event will also allow alums to gain upfront insight on William’s choice of art pieces and Hong Kong and Korean young artists that are representative of the latest contemporary art. Please find William Lim’s bio attached below.
