Pitch Night showcases the culmination of a semester’s research around real-world challenges in agriculture technology (AgTech) and explores intersections with AI, autonomous systems, and design thinking. Students from Cornell Tech (NYC), Universidad de Monterrey (Mexico), and Shenkar College of Design and Engineering (Israel) tackle four key topics:
• Labor Force Transition & Onboarding:
â—‹ Helping workers adapt to autonomous systems through gamification, AI-driven training, and visual learning tools.
• Environmental Resilience Practices:
â—‹ Reducing reliance on chemical pesticides with precision agriculture, drone technology, and organic alternatives.
• Agriculture & Well-Being:
â—‹ Reconnecting people to agriculture through community gardening, AI-driven crop optimization, and agricultural therapy.
• Autonomous Fleet Management:
â—‹ Optimizing autonomous farming vehicles with AI-driven dashboards, predictive maintenance, and efficiency tools.
This event caps a daylong hackathon and a weeklong Bay Area trek, where students learn from the local tech and startup scene.
