Join our own Leah Bissonette (BS ’73; MS ’76) and Bob Hemphill (Yale) for a fun and informative presentation on the coming renewable energy revolution. Through their nonprofit, Sunshine Soldiers, Leah and Bob examine data about the economics of energy and how those changing costs are bringing a revolution. Leah and Bob have worked all over the world building power plants, running utilities, and doing environmental assessments of energy alternatives. With charts, graphs, and inside stories about the changing energy business, they take the knowledge from their years in the field and project where we are going in the future. Their unique views on energy today will surprise and delight you.
Leah and Bob have presented at Boston University, UCSD, UCLA, the Sun Valley Institute, and various local forums. They are scheduled to present in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands this spring. Bob has written two books about his time in the industry, Dust Tea, Dingoes, and Dragons and Stories from the Middle Seat. And now they will be speaking here to our own Cornell Club of San Diego with an opportunity for you to ask questions. You can find out more about them and their long illustrious careers at www.sunshinesoldiers.com.
