Apples to Applejack, on Apple Street: the Story of Laird’s Applejack
Ninth generation family member Lisa Laird Dunn is Vice President and World Ambassador of Laird & Company. Located in Monmouth County and dating to 1780, Laird holds U.S. Distillery License #1 that was issued immediately after Prohibition’s repeal. Lisa is the public face of the company. Lisa joined the company three decades ago, is responsible for supporting the resurgence of Apple Brandy and Applejack in the contemporary craft cocktail scene.
Lisa will discuss the history of the Laird family; America’s oldest family of distillers, along with the history of Laird’s Applejack; America’s oldest native distilled spirit, and how Laird’s history reflects American history.
Cost: $40 early bird, $45 after March 18.
Your ticket includes a full buffet meal, wine and applejack.
