It’s time for a BIG RED BIKE RIDE!

Let’s paint the bike trails red, with a peloton as long as a dragon’s tail! Join your fellow Cornellians in a family friendly group ride of the MPLS city lakes bike trails.

All ages and skill levels welcome (sorry, no e-bikes please). Meet up at the Lake Harriet Bandshell Area at 4:00PM.

We will have two ride distances; “The JV”: Harriet+Bde Maka ska loop and “The Varsity”: Harriet+Bde Maka ska+Lake of the Isles loop.

There will be photos for your Instagram/FB and fun awards like, most vintage bike, most impressive streamers, “fastest looking” rider, The Big Red Spirit bike, and best multi-rider theme.

Bring along your own picnic and corn-hole tourney to follow, or please come then if not for the bike ride!  There is also food available for purchase on site and the club will provide light refreshments. At 7:30PM there’ll be music of Fat Chance Jug Band at the Harriet bandshell. Yeehaw!

What to bring:
The whole gang dressed in Big Red Gear!
Your fave bike and helmet (recommended)
Lawn chair
Big Red Blanket
Sunscreen
Bug spray
Food and drinks, no glass please
