Location: Buffalo, NY

Join alumnus Matthew Nagowski ’05 in a tour of his art exhibition featuring Buffalo socioeconomic data on Saturday, June 25th

Local art gallery Eleven Twenty Projects is presenting Matthew Peter Nagowski: Nobody Circles the Wagons, a series of digital archival prints addressing the region’s changing socioeconomic landscape. Using the Processing computer language, Nagowski abstracts data derived from local socioeconomic trends, blends them with local experiences, and contextualizes their numerical-driven meaning in aesthetic form. Nagowski’s work explores the boundaries of analytical and emotional reaction to data and art.

The exhibition is running from June 1st – July 2nd. A past-president of the Club, Nagowski is offering an exclusive walk-through and artist talk of the show at the gallery at 11 AM on Saturday, June 25th, 1120 Main Street, Buffalo, NY. Reservations are not needed in advanced but any questions may be directed directly with Nagowski at nagowski@cornell.edu.
