The Cornell Club of Chicago is pleased to announce the (mostly) annual ritual to send the new Cornell Freshman to Ithaca in style.

Welcome to the Class of 2020!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be joined by Glenn Altschuler, dean of the School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions, and the Thomas and Dorothy Litwin Professor of American Studies!  Many alumni will remember Dean Altschuler as a well-known and well-liked professor.  He knows a lot about Cornell!

The incoming freshman will have a chance to meet their local new classmates, forming some connections before even leaving town. We need you there to provide a very warm alumni welcome, folks who’ve been there and done that. The entering students and their parents are always happy to meet alumni – it is the beginning of their very excellent Cornell adventure!

Dogs, burgers and beverages will be provided.
Alumni are asked to bring a dish, assigned by last name first letter:
A-G:  appetizer or grabbable munchies
H-N:  side dish or salad
O-Z:  dessert or fruit
