Come join alumni from Cornell, other Ivy and Boston area schools, family and friends for a Texas Scramble golf tournament at beautiful Ocean Edge Golf Course in Brewster, MA.  Ocean Edge is home to Cape Cod’s only Nicklaus Design golf course, a challenging layout designed to be strategically appropriate for all levels of play.

When: Monday, 8th October 2018 – the Columbus Day Holiday. A 7:30 am registration at the club will facilitate use of the driving range before the 8:30 am shotgun start. Rain date: TBA

Where: Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club, 832 Villages Drive, Brewster, MA 02631.

Format: Texas Scramble in teams of 3 or 4 players. ‘Shotgun’ start at 8:30 am. This will be a no pressure, fun event for all levels of players. Teams of three or four will be arranged for you, or you may register your own complete team. Please register no later than Friday, 5th October, and include your most recent handicap, if you have one. Please note a handicap is not required to play in this tournament.

Prizes will be awarded to the top team, and for longest drive (women’s and men’s), and two ‘closest to the pin’ holes.

Price: $65/player includes 18 holes of golf and cart, and use of the driving range and chipping facility.  A cash bar and food service will be available at a post-round reception.

Sponsorship Opportunities: As a fundraiser for Cornell Club of Cape Cod’s Scholarship program, companies or individuals are encouraged to sponsor holes on the course for a fee of $100. Sponsors may place advertising on the tee box and/or near the green of the hole they sponsor.
