Cornell Cares Day – Baking Memories 4Kids
We are excited to join Baking Memories 4Kids for our Cornell Cares Day event. They are a local charity raising funds through cookie sales to send children with life threatening or terminal illnesses and their families on an all expense, week long vacation to Florida. Our group will be joining other volunteers to help prep, bake, and package cookies for the season – Job duties will be assigned on site. The work shift will be from 8:00 AM to 5 PM with lunch provided. Though volunteering for this event is a time commitment, it will be well worth the experience knowing the memories you’ve created for these families in need. Please not that there is a possibility that you may be working all or part of your shift outside, so please bring a warm jacket just in case.
All volunteers must be 12 years of age or older and vaccinated or supply a negative COVID test result. Anyone under the age of 15 must have parental supervision.
SPOTS are limited – please only sign-up if you can commit to work the entire shift.
