Come join your fellow Cornellians as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through community service. This year for Cornell Cares we will be volunteering with Feeding South Florida® a local organization committed to serving individuals, families and older adults experiencing food insecurity. Volunteers will assist with the inspecting, sorting, and repacking of donated food.
Feeding South Florida’s mission is to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts and transforming lives through innovative programming and education. Feeding South Florida serves over 250,000 food insecure people in Broward County and over 750,000 people across South Florida.
