Despite this week’s brief cameo of fleeting flurries, spring has arrived—and with it, our alma mater’s birthday.

Ezra Cornell’s founding principle remains as impactful today as it was in April 1865:

“I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any study.”

That enduring ethos continues to unite Cornellians across every generation, zip code and discipline—beyond brand, it’s about DNA.

Here’s to our shared origins. Come reunite and reminisce over happy hour:  savory bites, artisanal drinks and Big Red spirit.

Happy Birthday Cornell!
