In addition to registering in our system, Volunteers MUST ALSO register with Share Our Spare

Volunteers play a critical role at the Sharehouse by helping sort and inventory donations of baby and toddler essentials for children in need across Chicago. Volunteering at the Sharehouse is family-friendly! We have lots of fun and engaging activities for our littlest volunteers. Activities include making cards, sorting clothes, and doing quality checks on toys and books.

Volunteers must be at least 6 years old. There must be at least one adult for every two children between the ages of 6 and 10. We encourage all attendees to bring either a package of size 6 diapers, 3T-4T pull-ups, wipes, or menstrual pads. You can also purchase items from Share Our Spare’s registry and the items will be shipped directly to them.

Registration closes Thursday, January 12th at 2:30 PM to allow for time to plan activities. All attendees must be registered, including children. Please make sure you and any guests are registered on time.
