🏒 FROM LYNAH TO LO-DO: A CORNELL HOCKEY TAKEOVER 🏔️
Big Red Legends. Avalanche Speed. One Unforgettable Sunday.
On Sunday, March 8, legendary Cornell Men’s Hockey Coach, Mike Schafer ’86 comes to Denver to join our community for an action-packed, family-friendly Cornell experience as the Colorado Avalanche—currently the hottest team in the NHL—take the ice against the Minnesota Wild. With four Cornellians in the Avalanche system and former Big Red standout Sam Malinski ’23 suiting up, this is where Cornell pride and Colorado pride collide—at full speed, top shelf, bar down.
We’re offering discounted game tickets, a pre-game Cornell meetup, and a post-game hang at an awesome new tavern that will go down in Cornell Club lore. Wear your loudest Cornell gear. Face paint encouraged. Euphoric Big Red energy not just welcomed—expected.
