Event Details

Join us for our singular evening of family-friendly fun as the Cornell Club of Colorado takes over Denver’s iconic Chamberlain Observatory featuring a nearly 200-year-old telescope. This experience is part of our “30 under $30 Series,” a collection of thirty programs priced at $30 or less intentionally designed to reach as wide an audience as possible.

**This event is capped at 20 people**

WHAT: Public programs at the Chamberlain Observatory fill up nearly a year in advance, but we were able to cut the line and secure special VIP access for Cornellians and their guests. We will have a memorable Saturday evening featuring a tour, talk and viewing experience (which will be influenced by the weather and sky conditions).

WHERE: The Chamberlain Observatory at Denver University
2930 E Warren Ave, Denver, CO 80210
*This space dates to 1888 and this program provides a rare treat!

WHEN: 7pm

COST: $30.00**

WHY: Because we Cornellians are all nerds at heart and because astronomy is for the cool people :). Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity.

**A portion of proceeds from this event will go toward our continued enhancement of Cornell Club of Colorado programming and to ensure future events remain accessible to the diverse, vibrant, and curious 4,000+ Cornellians living in Colorado and that we can offer even more free and low-cost programming. As always, please feel free to reach out to Club President, Gary Schueller (schuellergp@gmail.com / 914.907.2169) or Club Vice President, Katherine Olaksen (kdo27@cornell.edu) with recommendations for programs, feedback, or to get more involved.
