BACKSTAGE FOR MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET AT THEATRE SILO
Culturally Curious × Meet Up In Silverthorne

Cornellians, head for the high country. On Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 we’re trading the Front Range for the gateway to the Gore Range — pairing a backstage night at one of Colorado’s best regional theaters with a full weekend of lake, trail, and alumni camaraderie. This is what both of our flagship series were built for, and we’re running them together.

Please note: We have 20 tickets for this bespoke experience!

WHAT: A Cornell Club of Colorado weekend anchored by a private pre-show experience and performance of Million Dollar Quartet — the Tony-winning musical based on the real December 1956 jam session at Sun Records that brought Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins into the same room for one unrepeatable night. We have an exclusive reception planned before the show with Associate Artistic Director Seamus McDonough who will give us a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process. Then we will take in the show from our special seats in this intimate mountain theatre.
WHEN: Saturday, June 27
5:30 PM — Lobby reception & cash bar
6:00 PM — Backstage tour and conversation with Associate Artistic Director Seamus McDonough
7:00 PM — Performance
WHERE: Theatre SilCo, 460 Blue River Parkway, Silverthorne, CO 80498
WHO: Cornell alumni, partners, friends and guests. Hosted by the Cornell Club of Colorado as part of our Culturally Curious series and our Meet Up In series — our celebration of Colorado explorers and the places that make this state extraordinary.
WHY: Get behind the curtain, hear from the people making the work, and share it with Cornellians who’ll still be talking about it on the drive home. And because Silverthorne in late June is exactly where you should be.
