Chicago Neighborhood Series is our effort to explore new neighborhoods of Chicago while eating delicious foods and mingling with fellow Cornellians.

Not many people know this. But Wrigleyville and nearby Lincoln Park area used to be resided by East Asians (Korean and Japanese). Nisei Lounge which is a historic bar is few remaining venues from that time.

Konbini and Kanpai is a harmonious hybrid of both liquor store and bar that specializes in Japanese sake. We will be doing sake tasting with appetizers and food that goes with it. So it is a full meal. The price is all inclusive of tax and gratuity. The registration fee is not refundable if not cancelled by 05/01/2025.

You may arrive late, but we will start ordering foods 10 minutes after event starts.
