CAU Pre-Election Seminar 2024
November 1-3, 2024
Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York
Join us for a riveting, non-partisan seminar that dives deep into the details of the 2024 presidential election. Our faculty, comprising former members of the House of Representatives – one Democrat and one Republican – and current members of the Government Department, the Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, the Institute of Politics and Global Affairs, and the University Administration, will examine a wide range of critical topics from the evolving landscape of political parties to the power of media, election security, public opinion polling, gerrymandering, disinformation, and the Electoral College.
CAU faculty take you beyond the bluster, navigating to the heart of the historical, political, and legal conflicts that define the 2024 election. With the partisan divide deepening, and a striking openness among voters toward third-party candidates, our panelists forecast the twists and turns of the campaign to offer an insider’s look at the debates, fundraising, polling, and political strategies that shape the race to the White House.
Don’t miss this unparalleled opportunity to engage with the minds shaping the discourse around one of the most anticipated, transformative presidential elections in history!
