Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is the Indian Festival of Lights, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. The name “Deepavali” translates to “row of lights,” and this vibrant celebration often coincides with the harvest and the New Year, and is celebrated across South and South-East Asia. While Diwali usually falls between mid-October and mid-November, its exact date varies each year due to the lunar calendar.

Our sixth annual celebration promises an inclusive experience for everyone. Enjoy a sumptuous 8-course Indian buffet featuring signature dishes like Amritsari Fish, Samosa Chaat, Special Chicken Malai, and Saag Paneer, along with delightful desserts such as Gajar Halwa and engaging activities highlighting the richness of Indian heritage, such as puzzles, rangoli drawing competitions, and temporary henna tattoos.

We invite alumni, students, families, friends, and the broader community to come together for an evening filled with joy, connection, and shared traditions.

Tickets are $50 per person and include a fixed buffet menu with appetizers, dessert, and a beverage.
