A CORNELL CONNECTION MORE THAN A CENTURY IN THE MAKING
The Denver Athletic Club has stood at the heart of downtown Denver since 1884—and Cornell’s connection to the club reaches back more than 120 years. Cornell recruited longtime DAC athletic leader Dana M. Evans to Ithaca, where he served as a wrestling instructor and helped shape the university’s early athletic programs.

Today, the Cornell Club of Colorado is building a broader partnership with the DAC. The evening will include a brief guided tour of its stunning historic spaces.
