Event Details

Join your fellow Cornellians on Sunday, November 23rd at 1pm to learn about the Tiffany Lamp collection at the New York Historical.  The Gallery Exhibit features more than 100 Tiffany lamps – one of the largest collections in the world.  On the tour, you will learn about the hidden history of the women who played a prominent role in the design and creation of the lamps including Clara Driscoll, the leader of the Women’s Glass Cutting Department.

After the tour, feel free to explore the museum’s other exhibits or to watch their two acclaimed short films. “We Rise” (narrated by Meryl Streep) and “New York Story” narrated by Liev Schreiber.  It promises to be a great afternoon.
