Uptown exhibits beautiful arrays of early twentieth century architecture and what the old Chicago was like during prohibition era, which can be witnessed by still standing Green Mill Club or temporarily closed Uptown Theater. The neighborhood is rapidly changing from most recently resided by South East Asian communities and to various other immigrant communities notably Ethiopians.
The restaurant we are going to is James Beard Award winner. They are well known for their Duck dinner, but the waitstaffs will never tell you the existence of such dish and it is also not written on the menu. It is a public secret to the patrons of this historic institution.
The price of the dinner is expected to be around $45 which would include the duck, entree, soup, fried rice and a drink.
