Join us as our Friday Date Night Series continues with a beautiful jewelry workshop in partnership with social impact brand Manos Emprendedoras, a collective of Latin American women immigrant artisans founded by Yurima Crowley In this special pre-Valentine’s Day program, guests will learn to make a custom piece of jewelry featuring a beautiful gemstone.

Our hosts will also be preparing homemade, soulful Mexican food and drink including tamales, pozole and champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate). Perfect for a unique Valentine’s Day gift and for curious and adventurous Cornellians and their guests!

WHO: Yuri Crowley, the founder of Manos Emprendedoras was born in Caracas, Venezuela and studied Graphic Design. A visionary and talented artisan, she created Manos Emprendedoras out of a passion for jewelry and helping others. Yuri will share her own inspiring story with us and guide us through this hands-on experience.

TICKETS: $60* (each guest will take home a piece of jewelry they will make – this program includes the class, jewelry and food and drink). Questions or more information?
