Cornell AAP establishes Ratan N. Tata Distinguished Alumni Award

The College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (AAP) has established the Ratan N. Tata Distinguished Alumni Award. The new award recognizes the decades-long global and philanthropic impact of the late Ratan Tata ’59, BArch ’62.

Tata, a former Cornell trustee, AAP Advisory Council member, and renowned business leader, is the inaugural recipient of the award. It will be given annually or biennially to AAP alumni who have gone on to demonstrate their unique vision and commitment to making a meaningful, positive impact on society.
