These recordings have driven new research, preserved the sounds of extinct species, and provided inspiration for countless listeners.

Join Cornell Lab’s Macaulay Library on Tuesday, January 16 at 8:00 pm EST for a virtual celebration of this milestone. Learn how these recordings are expanding our understanding of the natural world, and how you can contribute your own sound recordings to the archive.
