You are invited to an evening of conversation and connection at Hampton Art Lovers Gallery Space in downtown Miami. Inaugural dean of the Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy Colleen L. Barry will provide an overview of the new Brooks School, its mission, and purpose. She’ll discuss how schools of public policy can spark civic engagement and promote informed dialogue, and why the Brooks School is dedicated to this crucial work.




Welcome and opening remarks by County Commissioner
Eileen Higgins ’89 MBA.




Arrive at 6:30 p.m., tour the art gallery, network with fellow Cornellians, and enjoy gourmet light bites with a variety wine, beer, and soft drinks. 

Catering provided by Lil Greenhouse Grill.




The conversation starts at 7:00 p.m., moderated by lead curator and Cornell alum
Christopher Norwood ’97; a brief Q&A follows. Mixing and mingling continues at the spacious gallery grounds soon after.
