About the Speakers

Jennifer Chu has a dual degree in Economics and Classics from Cornell University. She led brand strategy and marketing for multiple titles at Conde Nast facilitating the organization’s most critical strategic priority, transforming the organization from its traditional print heritage to a digital publishing powerhouse including Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Wired. Prior to Conde Nast. She was working in the Financial Services Office at Ernst and Young as a tax analyst and the Business Planning group at MetLife International. She received her MBA from Fordham Gabelli School of Business with a concentration in Finance. Following her MBA, she worked at JP Morgan in the Private Bank and is now a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.  She sits on a team managing ~$500M in assets and liabilities – Advising UHNW clients to implement banking, investment, and wealth management solutions addressing each client’s retirement, estate and tax planning, and philanthropic objectives. Her passion for sustainability through education has been exercised with her investments in organizations such as StreetSquash and Prisoner’s Express. She sits on the board of two educational non-profits, Bottom Line and Sumbandila, both of which provide scholarships and professional guidance for exceptional youth. 

Stephanie Vitti began her career at Morgan Stanley in 2009. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, she works with individuals and families to help them navigate all aspects of wealth management, including investments, retirement planning, insurance, and estate planning strategies. In 2016, Stephanie joined HLS Wealth Management. HLS was ranked #71 on Forbes’ list of Top Wealth Management Teams for 2022 and #7 on Forbes’ list of Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams (New York City) for 2023. Stephanie is a graduate of Cornell University with a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations. She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of New York City and sits on the Director’s Council of Cents Ability, a non-profit that provides free financial education workshops to high school students. Stephanie is an avid reader and enjoys travel, yoga, and trying new restaurants. She lives in New York City with her husband and two young children, Christopher and Sophia.

Serena Dang is the founder and CEO of Teacup Inc., a voice-first digital platform with a mission of enhancing the aging experience of midlife adults and beyond. Prior to starting Teacup Inc., Serena was the founding member of 1Sharpe Ventures, an $100M venture capital fund investing in early stage tech startups. Before that, Serena was a vice president in capital markets at Nomura Securities, focused on trading and structuring securitized products within the fixed income group. She is an advisor to Trella, a US-China based greentech company; a board member of CTN, a non-profit providing technology access and training to disadvantaged communities; and is the head of North America for SheLovesTech, a global ecosystem advancing women in tech entrepreneurship. Serena has a BS degree from the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration and is an avid mountaineer and cyclist.
