This event will provide alumni with a guided tour of the Liberty Hyde Bailey Conservatory. The new state-of-the-art conservatory, which opened in 2016, is located adjacent to the Plant Sciences Building and houses a collection of more than 100 species of exotic plants from around the world. Plants in this collection are used to support hands-on teaching, research, and outreach for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The tour will be led by Ed Cobb, a research support specialist in the Plant Biology Section of the School of Integrative Plant Science. Following the tour, there will be a brief slide show on the history of the Cornell Conservatories.
