Season’s greetings to all local Cornell alumni and family and friends! Our club will be hosting its annual holiday event at the Frick Art & Historical Center on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 PM. Doors open at 5:00 PM for anyone interested in arriving early. Guests of all ages are welcome to attend.

As part of its ongoing “Winter Fridays” seasonal celebration, guests will enjoy the sights and sounds of strolling carolers, beverages at the Frick Holiday Bar (featuring seasonal alcohol and non-alcoholic options), holiday cookie decorating in the Community Room for all ages, free musical performances, and more!

The musical entertainment for this evening will be a program titled “Carols and Glad Tidings!” performed by Maestri Singers and Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra directed and conducted by Thomas Octave. This performance will begin at 6:30 PM in the Frick Art Museum Auditorium and will feature selections from Handel’s Messiah as well as carols ancient and new.

The featured art exhibition will be “The Frick Collects: From Rubens to Monet” at The Frick Art Museum. Dinner options will be available at The Café at the Frick, where Chef Seth Bailey has created a special menu to celebrate the season. Last but not least, guests are welcome to visit Clayton, Henry Clay Frick’s home, for a special Family Christmas tour.
