On Tuesday, March 28th at 7:00 PM, the Cornell Alumni Association of Westchester (CAAW), and the ILR Alumni Association of Westchester will present ESG: What You Need to Know, an in-depth look at the role Environmental, Social, and Governance factors play in analyzing, taking, and managing risk in the context of business, not-for-profit, and governmental entities.

Among other issues, this program will explore: what ESG is and how it arose as a concept; how rating agencies derive ESG scores for entities; how corporate managers and institutional investors use rating agency ESG scores; how individual investors can use rating agency ESG scores; and why ESG has recently become controversial.
