Please join the Cornell Alumni Association of Westchester for a pre-Halloween online event featuring award-winning and USA Today best-selling thriller author, Carter Wilson ’92. Carter will be joining us from his spooky, but not (yet) haunted Victorian house in Erie, Colorado, to share why he got into writing, how he creates suspense, what impact Cornell had on his stories, and a few of his favorite lines from his books.
Carter Wilson is the author of eight critically acclaimed psychological thrillers, as well as numerous short stories. He is an ITW Thriller Award finalist, a five-time winner of the Colorado Book Award, and his works have been optioned for television and film.
“I want to be able to kill anybody at any time and not have to worry about them…†says Carter when asked why he prefers to write standalone thrillers and not series. He will also answer questions from the audience and give away a few signed copies of his latest book, The New Neighbor, praised by The New York Times bestselling author S.A. Cosby as “a dizzying descent into a Byzantine maze of psychological suspenseâ€.
Don’t miss this thrilling event – guaranteed to put you in the mood for Halloween!
