Cornell Asian American Alumni are invited to try Dragon Boating at the New York DCH (Da Chuan Hong – Great Prosperous Company) Club at Flushing Bay Promenade in 1 Worlds Fair Marina, Flushing, Queens.

 The Dragon Boating Club offer all levels of paddling from recreational to competitive. No paddling experience is necessary. It started as a men’s crew in 1993 as a competitive dragon boat club at https://www.dchracing.com/home.

The Dragon Boating Club has expanded to include women and members from age 12 to 50 years old with a variety of different backgrounds. They have paddled competitively in both national and international races, with recent trips to Hong Kong, Macau, Vancouver, and Montreal. The Dragon Boating Club has been the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Champions of the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York. With that said, all Cornell Asian alumni are welcome to learn about the history of dragon boating, experience it first hand, and meet and mingle with other alumni!
