Fisk Johnson is committed to reducing plastic pollution

Fisk Johnson ’79, MEng ’80, MS ’82, MBA ’84, PhD ’86, CEO of SC Johnson, is a lifelong diver. “I’ve had a chance to see how the ocean has changed over those years,” Fisk says, “and I have seen more and more plastic waste in the ocean.” Under Fisk's leadership, SC Johnson has committed to reducing its plastic footprint and encouraging reuse of the plastic in its own products. The company hopes to make 100% of its plastic packaging recyclable, reusable, or compostable by 2025—up from 90% today.
