In the United States, women have been told to stay in their place and allow decisions to be made for and about them without their input and leadership. There has been a slow but steady shift in the narrative of how women are slowly making space for themselves at the table, and having an active role in major policy decisions. In honor of Women’s History Month, we want to celebrate diverse Cornell women that are thriving in politics, creating inclusive cultures, and ushering in a new era of organizing and advocacy. CBAA, CLAA, and CAAA are excited to co-host this panel of Women of Color who are making noise and fighting for change. Please join us on March 24th to learn about their professional journeys, challenges, and goals. We hope that the Cornellians that join us leave feeling empowered and excited about intentional civic engagement!
