Hindy will talk about his experiences as an entrepreneur, take your questions live and guide us through a tasting of Brooklyn Brewery’s beers! This “bar stool” chat will be moderated by Zach Shulman ’87 Law ’90, director of Entrepreneurship at Cornell.

Steve Hindy, co-founder and chairman of The Brooklyn Brewery, is a former Middle East Correspondent for The Associated Press. He is a longtime member and past chairman of the board of directors of the Brewers Association, and served as a board member of the Beer Institute, the large brewers’ trade group. He is the co-author of Beer School along with co-founder Tom Potter, and author of The Craft Beer Revolution, an insiders look at the stunning growth of American craft beer. He has contributed to The New York Times, Vice Media, CNN, and numerous other publications, as well as appearing on television and online videos. Steve also serves on the boards of Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Alliance, North Brooklyn Parks Alliance, and is chairman of the board of Transportation Alternatives.
