Join the Cornell Club of Northern New Jersey and the Cornell Asian Alumni Association for a reading and book discussion on October 27, 2020, 7:00 -8 00 pm.
Sung J. Woo, ’94, will join us to discuss his newly released novel, Skin Deep, the first installment of a new mystery series set at “an institution of higher learning in upstate New York.” Sound familiar?
Sung resides in New Jersey and received his BA in English from Cornell and an MFA in creative writing from NYU. He is the author of three novels, a collection of short stories, and several essays published in The New York Times, PEN/Guernica, and Vox.

About the Speaker:
Sung J. Woo’s short stories and essays have appeared in The New York Times, PEN/Guernica, and Vox. He has written three novels, Skin Deep (2020), Love Love (2015), and Everything Asian (2009), which won the 2010 Asian Pacific American Librarians Association Literature Award. A graduate of Cornell University with an MFA from New York University, he lives in Washington, New Jersey.
