Attire

Friday evening: Business casual or festive Cornell
Saturday conference: Business. Suit and tie for men; knee-length dress (preferably solid colored) for women. 
Saturday dinner: Smart casual, (comfortable) festive ethnic or (comfortable) festive Cornell. Comfortable shoes; we will be riding the BTS Sky Train from the Shangri-La Hotel to the Novotel Hotel on Siam Square. We will also be outdoors by the pool area for a marketplace feel dinner with interactive entertainment.  
Sunday cruise/tour: Smart casual. Clothes that cover shoulders and knees and shoes that slip on and off are ideal for the tour at Wat Arun.

Note on heat safety: Although indoor spaces are air-conditioned, Bangkok temperatures will be in the 85-100 F range and possibly higher during our visit. It is important to stay hydrated at all times, especially when outdoors. Hats, umbrellas, and breathable clothing is also very helpful in extreme heat.
