Cornell Giving Day is an energetic and inspiring tradition. Each year, Cornellians come together in support of a better Cornell and a better world. Giving Day Champions sign up to fundraise on behalf of a university fund.

Cornell Giving Day is an exciting one-day fundraising event that takes place each March. As a Giving Day Champion, you can help us create the momentum we need to have a successful day.

How do I become a Giving Day Champion?
Using the Giving Day website’s peer-to-peer fundraising tool, you can help Cornell raise more, engage more, and do more!
Creating your fundraising page is easy.
1. Start at givingday.cornell.edu.
2. Search for the college, unit, or specific fund you want to support.
3. Click the “FUNDRAISE” button on the fund’s page.
4. Follow the instructions for customizing your page.

Cornell Annual Funds
There are annual funds across the university, including one for each college. These funds provide immediate financial support when deans and directors need it most. Annual funds are critical to Cornell achieving its mission of academic excellence and public service.
Undergraduate Scholarships
You can change lives by giving to undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships, and professional school scholarships, which help keep a Cornell education within reach for today’s students.

Make a gift on Giving Day
Give online at the Cornell Giving Day website, https://givingday.cornell.edu/.
By phone. Donors can call 1-800-279-3099 to make gifts using a credit card.
By check. For gifts made by check to count toward the final Giving Day total, they must be received by 11:59 PM ET on Giving Day at the following address. They should have “Giving Day” written in the memo line.
