There’s a winery in Ocean Beach?  And it’s really good!

Let’s get together and toast our fellowship during a fun afternoon of wine tasting at Gianni Buonomo Vintners (GBV) on Newport Avenue just steps from the sea.  GBV’s award winning wines are sourced from the top vineyards in Washington state and the Sierra Foothills in California.

GBV converted an old antique store only 2.5 blocks from the beach into a brand-new, fully functioning, 3000 sq. ft. winery complete with a production area, a laboratory, a barrel room and a well-appointed tasting room.  All of Gianni Buonomo’s vintages are blended and aged onsite and upon entering, you’re instantly awash in the unmistakable aroma of fine wine aging in French oak barrels!

Cornell invites you for an afternoon of wine tasting, light fare, and camaraderie.

Cost: $20.  Includes a 6 flight tasting.  Mediterranean restaurant fare and Venissimo cheese trays will be available for purchase.
