9:30 am – 11:30 am

Join us for an adventurous spring hike down the Niagara Gorge to the Whirlpool Rapids. The hike along the state park trail will bring us down to the rapids, up close and personal with the power of the Niagara River.

Parking is in the Whirlpool State Park lot accessible off the Niagara Scenic Parkway just north of Niagara Falls. Gather by 9:30 am in the area in front of the services building located off the parking area.

The walk is rated as difficult due to many steps, roots and large rocks along the trail. Sturdy tied shoes are suggested. The trail is 2.6 miles round trip, and may not be suitable for some younger children, or for persons who are physically challenged.

Limited to 15 attendees.
